Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine to join our dedicated team. As a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, you will focus on providing specialized care for pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies, ensuring the well-being of both the mother and the unborn baby. With your expertise, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing complex medical conditions during pregnancy, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of high-risk pregnancies, including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to obstetricians and other healthcare professionals on complex maternal fetal medicine cases.
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound imaging tests, genetic screenings, and other medical reports to identify fetal abnormalities or potential complications.
- Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans for high-risk pregnancies, including the management of medical conditions, coordination with other specialists, and counseling patients and families.
- Perform advanced procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling, and fetal medicine interventions when necessary.
- Provide patient education regarding prenatal care, potential risks, and available treatment options.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, including neonatologists, genetic counselors, pediatric surgeons, and maternal fetal medicine nurses.
- Stay updated on the latest research and advances in the field of maternal fetal medicine to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in academic activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as conducting clinical research within the field.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Active medical license and the ability to practice in the state of employment.
- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and manage complex maternal fetal medicine cases.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

- Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions in high-risk situations.
